We are looking for our next Recreation Labourer Operators to join Maitland City Council If you have one or more of the following skillsets and experience, we would love to hear from you
- Operating ride-on, zero-turn, and push mowers.
- Use of ground maintenance tools such as whipper snippers and hedge trimmers
- General garden labouring skills like hand weeding, mulching, pressure cleaning
- Operation of tractors with mowing implements is highly desirable.

You will need a current Class C drivers licence and a white card. Ideally you will also hold a MR licence or have a willingness to obtain within the first 3 months.

**What does the role offer?**
- Monday - Friday roster
- $28.68- $31.78 p/hour (inclusive of allowances)+ 11.5% super
- Working directly to enhance the Maitland community
- Permanent, full-time role

**What is this role responsible for?**
- General labouring duties ensuring quality workmanship
- Operating mowing plant and trucks (up to medium rigid ratings)
- Maintaining and cleaning plant, equipment and tools
- Upholding integrity and safety for self, team and members of the public
