Our client supplies high quality fabrication and equipment to the construction and mining & various industries.

We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team on a fulltime basis, located in their North Western suburbs of Adelaide Fabrication workshop.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Manage the repairs, fabrication ,rebuilds etc
- Oversee workshop facilities
- Order parts and consumables
- Book in and manage sub contractors
- Manage workshop personnel

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring job cards are followed and deadlines are met
- Conducting fabrication mechanical inspections of equipment and determining repairs required to bring machine to work ready condition
- Managing and directing fabrication requirements
- Supervision of a team of boilermakers, welders trades assistants and apprentices to carry out works within budgetary constraints
- Employing new workshop personnel as required

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

- Trade qualified in a mechanical discipline
- A current Forklift license
- SAdrivers license
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Supervisor / Manager in the Industrial, Fabrication ,Structural, Mechanical Civil and / or Mining sector
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures to be followed and implemented
- Police Clearance
- Complete medical clearance

- Maintenance, Service & Repairs
- Fabrication & Boilermaking

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
