Be part of a progressive event catering team in an established business. The Front of House Supervisor is a hands-on role and involves servicing different venues at locations in and around Brisbane.

As Cuisine on Cue’s senior Front of House Supervisor, you can expect aspects of the role to be challenging at times, however the positive Company culture will also see you supported & rewarded for your efforts. It is the perfect role for an individual with high service expectations and enjoys a challenge.

Accountabilities of the role will include full operational responsibility for the all aspects of Front of House, in particular:
- Ensuring a high standard of execution of all events
- Management of pre & post event feedback to the sales team and senior management
- Ensure effective & efficient communication with other relevant company departments to ensure efficiency of service in all areas
- Assisting with training of FOH staff to company standards
- Create and nurture a harmonious workplace for staff to enable outstanding customer service
- Provide courteous, consistent and high quality service to clients at all times
- Be aware of & operate within the guidelines of the venues OH & S policies including food safety & liquor licensing, identify any hazards and actively seek to improve work practices
- Provision of operational support when required within events and café.

To be considered for interview you will be required to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years’ experience working at supervisory level in a similar catering company or hospitality environment.

Additionally, the following skills, experience & training are essential to this role:
- Exceptional skills in food & beverage service, including great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to resolve client queries and complaints professionally
- Ability to provide feedback to staff and coach or develop as required
- Ability to use reasonable judgment & problem solving skills when making both routine & complex decisions concerning events as they relate to FOH
- Exceptional interpersonal / customer liaison and negotiation skills
- Proactive & driven to achieve set targets & attain the best possible service outcomes for both the client and the company
- Current RSA & Approved Manager of Licensed Venues certification (or willingness to undertake the course)
- Ability to work days or evenings as required (essential)
- Australian Drivers licence (essential)

This can be a demanding, fast paced role which requires an individual with proven capability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task is imperative for this position.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $64,999.00 per year
