**About the Department for Correctional Services**

The Department employs approximately 2,000 staff and has responsibility for nine prisons and fifteen Community Correctional offices across the state. Our vision is for a safer community by protecting the public and reducing re-offending. **Duties**

The Team Leader, Systems and Services is accountable to the Director, Learning Academy for providing leadership and technical expertise in the areas of:

- design, development, testing and provision of quality e-learning products.
- projects focused on e-learning and leading user experience process improvement and improving efficiency using technological solutions to meet objectives.
- establishment of quality assurance systems and maintaining a continuous improvement model in alignment with the RTO Standards (2025).
- development and maintenance of the Learning Management System.

The Team Leader, Systems and Services is responsible for leading and managing the Senior Project Officer Training Systems, the Quality & Systems Improvement Lead, the Instructional Designer and Administration Officers.

**Special Conditions**
- Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in conjunction with other provisions of the act and other applicable industrial entitlements.
- The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check;
- A current South Australian Driver’s Licence is essential;
- A flexible approach to working hours is required;
- Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Qualifications in Adult Education, Training and Assessment; Computer Science, information Technology or a related discipline.

**Desirable**:

- Postgraduate qualifications in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Quality Assurance, Project Management; and/or
- Certifications in SCRUM, Agile, or other project management methologies would be highly regarded.

ASO7 ($108,109 - $116,864 pa)
