The Ski Club Victoria, passionately known as "The Whitt" is looking for experienced Food and Beverage Attendants to join our amazing team for the winter season June-October.

When the snow falls "The Whitt" is buzzing with atmosphere, friends alike and some of the best food on the mountain. This busy 100 seater restaurant and bar is the place to be on Mount Buller.

Open for lunch and dinner, our focus is on classic brasserie style food, fresh produce and a fun and efficient working environment.

We also have a small but busy cafe serving great homemade pastries and house roasted coffee. Its a Mount Buller hot spot and is known for its great coffee and delicious quick bites while you are hitting the slopes.

- Perform the tasks of order taking and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests._
- Ensure that dockets are written clearly and correctly so the cashier and kitchen can fulfill their duties effectively._
- Deliver orders promptly to the kitchen production area._
- Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance; ensure items are announced._
- Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedure manual._
- Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service._
- Take responsibility for your designated section and station._
- Provide for guests and patrons an experience and environment they feel meets their expectations._
- Familiarize yourself with Members and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met._

This is a casual seasonal position across a 7-day operation that will include regular weekend and evening work.
