About the Role
- The purpose of this position is to provide specialised clinical and consultancy services within Bayside Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS). The position delivers advanced social work services to stakeholders/consumers within Bayside CYMHS to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research. Demonstrating advanced clinical skills in the area of social work.
- Providing service wide social work clinical and professional advice on specialised clinical areas and service delivery models in the area of severe and complex mental health issues in a Child and Youth Mental Health setting. Including taking a lead role in skill development of less experienced staff.
- This position reports operationally to the Team Leader, Bayside Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
- This position reports clinically to the Consultant Psychiatrist, Bayside Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
- This position reports professionally to the Director of Social Work, Bayside Health Service.
- This position provides supervision to students in addition to HP3 and HP4 clinicians.
