Full Time Manager

- A full-time managerial position (Salary) see below
- An entry level casual position (Per hour) as per award

**About the roles**

Join the team at Boardwalk Boats in Noosa Heads. You will play a key role in

ensuring our fleet of boats are well-maintained and ready to provide an exceptional

customer experience. If you have a passion for the outdoors, customer service and a

keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

**What you will be doing (applicable to both positions)**
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Working collaboratively within the wider business operations team
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
- Providing safety instructions for team and clients
- Assisting with the launch and retrieval of craft
- Ensuring safety equipment is in good working order conforming to standard
- Performing routine and unscheduled maintenance of craft
- Cleaning of craft and premises
- Assist in the refurbishment of craft

**Full time - Manager**

Ideal applicant MUST have:

- Current Australian boat licence - provide documentation/information
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in training and supervising team members
- Computer literacy skills
- Ability to promote and market business
- Ability to work in a physical environment
- Capable of manual handling

Roster can include school holidays, weekends, public holidays.

**Preferred capabilities**
- Australian coxswains licence
- Professional management qualifications
- Working knowledge of boat systems and outboards
- Working experience with composite materials
- Fluency in second language
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar environment

**Key duties & responsibility will include (but not limited to)**:

- Driving and parking of vessels (training provided)
- Managing and daily use of online booking system
- Planning and organising a variety of programs and structure for the use of vessels and paddle craft.
- Briefing on safety and navigation, operation of boats, kayaks and stand-Up paddle boards (training provided)
- Working with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Cleaning of craft and premises

**Successful applicants must have**:

- Ability to work unsupervised and manage fellow team members
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of manual handling
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness

Role is best suited to an individual who enjoys working outdoors and in a physical

marine environment.

**Casual - General boat hand**

Ideal applicant **MUST** have:

- _Current Australian boat licence - Provide documentation/information_
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a physical environment
- Capable of manual handling

Roster can include school holidays, weekends, public holidays and "on call"

**Key duties & responsibility will include (but not limited to)**:

- Driving and parking of vessels (training provided)
- Briefing on safety, navigation, and operation of boats, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards (training provided)
- Interacting with customers
- Cleaning of craft and premises
- Providing regular craft maintenance

**Successful applicants will have**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Capable of manual handling
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness

Role is best suited for an individual who enjoys working outdoors and in a physical

environment. Junior positions are available with shifts available on weekends and

over school holidays.
