**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Review, update, and develop work health and safety website content.
- Coordinate projects and contribute to the development, delivery, and review of safety and health educational resources.
- Identify and manage risks associated with communication activities, ensuring legislative compliance, technical accuracy, and editorial standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies and activities.
**Corporate Responsibilities**:
- Adhere to corporate policies and procedures, acting with integrity and demonstrating ethical behaviours aligned with the Department Code of Conduct.
- Ensure personal safety and health at work, and that of others, by complying with all applicable work health and safety laws and regulations.
- Contribute to achieving corporate objectives by maintaining professional and timely interactions with stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as directed.
**Role Specific Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in writing, editing, and proofreading technical content for non-specialists.
- Ability to work with limited direction to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Science, Engineering, Science Communications, or a comparable qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience in mining or developing mining-related content is preferred for the mining content writer role.
