**About**:
A high-growth firm in Melbourne is looking to establish a branch in Brisbane in
**2-3 months** and seeks the experience and commercial acumen of a Principle Solicitor to help them establish and grow their practice.

**Conditions for Success**:

- Minimum 6 Years PQE practising as an Australian Solicitor with broad experience in a few key areas:

- Family Law
- Civil Litigation
- Wills & Probate
- Maritime Law
- Criminal Law
- Excellent communication skills - Confident approach and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and relevant third parties
- Attention to detail - adept analysis of legal matters, research & drafting skills
- Experience in Business Development & readily ability to manage client expectations
- Ability to prioritize and manage many files and project deadlines simultaneously.
- Adept commercial acumen and disposition - proactive, innovative and outcome-focused approach

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with clients, solicitors and barristers, along with Melbourne office staff to help grow the Brisbane branch.
- 5-6 billable hours per day
- Provide tailored advice to clients to ensure an optimal outcome.
- Establish and maintain client relationships and expectations through regular and effective communication.
- Prepare court documents, correspondence, and briefs to barristers
- Arrange meetings and manage your case files with attention to detail
- Handle matters from start to finish autonomously
- Draft other legal documents such as complex Wills with Testamentary Trusts
- Estate planning including Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Enduring Guardianship
- Attend networking events to represent the new branch
- Liaising with Psychological counsellors in the team

Please Note:
**This role will commence in 2-3 months.**
