The product manager will focus on creating a modern easy to use system to make data collection and sharing, easier and faster for our frontline police. The role will manage a small team of technical resources and data quality reviewers who will be integral in shaping the new managers thinking and future success. Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements. **Your duties will include**: - Create strong working relationships with the other product managers, project managers and team members. - Establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Represent Victoria Police at relevant government and industry forums. - Ensure that the product changes and enhancements in the space are delivering. - Manage and provide leadership and direction to a multi-disciplinary team of professional technical and administrative staff to ensure high quality service delivery. **About You**: - 5+ years of relevant experience in a multidisciplinary ICT role is highly desirable. - Extensive experience in product management or product ownership. - Demonstrated experience in the use of Agile methodologies to deliver key initiatives and continuous improvement. - Demonstrated experience in the leading and managing IT professionals. - Formal qualifications in SAFE, ITIL or COBIT frameworks is highly desirable. - Engineering, IT or Data qualifications are highly desirable. **Further Information**: - One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available. - This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands. - The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head.
