Due to the rapid growth of our clients business, we are currently recruiting and experienced and pragmatic Procurement Manager to join the purchasing and procurement team. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing, validating, communicating and implementing effective sourcing strategies, spend categories, production sites and corporate team.
- Assist in the development of team strategy
- Manage day-to-day purchasing activities across all divisions
- Ensure appropriate purchase item lead-time and cost management
- Monitor and manage site-based supplier performance
- Manage physical inventory/value
- Obtain quotes and/or negotiate pricing for non-contracted lines
- Liase with department supervisors for trialling of new/alternative materials
- Develop strategies in order to best fufil the production capacities

About you
- Strong demonstrable experience with strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, planning and forecasting and inventory management.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Ability to articulate key metrics and root cause of performance to stakeholders
- Ability to identify, foster and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
