**About the Opportunity**

Take advantage of this exciting leadership opportunity A new position has become available for an experienced Café Team Leader to join the team at Kareena Private Hospital.

This role will require a supervisor with flair, a passion for excellent coffee and a keen interest to deliver outstanding customer service to hospital employees and onsite visitors. This role will encompass:

- Assisting with the set-up and coordination of the day-to-day operations of the café.
- **Barista experience is essential.**:

- Assist with food preparation.
- Maintaining cleanliness within the café in line with required food safety requirements, infection control and hospital standards.
- Staff rostering.
- Ensuring all monetary processes are adhered to in line with the Ramsay Cash handling policy.
- Managing inventory, ordering stock, and overseeing proper storage and rotation of food supplies.
- Collaborating with nursing, clinical, and dietary teams to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
- Leading by example to promote **Ramsay’s values** of integrity, ownership, caring, and innovation.

To ensure cohesiveness within the operation, the Café Supervisor will report to and work closely with the Catering Manager, in a positive and respected team.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will have a high attention to detail and work effectively in a team or independently as required, within a fast-paced environment. Your ability to prioritise tasks effectively will assist you with your excellent time management skills.

You will also bring:

- Previous experience in a café or restaurant environment is essential.
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable).
- Previous supervisory experience (highly desirable).
- **Barista experience and knowledge.**:

- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- Proven experience in stock rotation.
- Balancing of takings and banking.
- Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety.

**Requirements**:
