Food & Beverage Café Team Leader

$33 per hour plus Superannuation

  • Full time - Monday to Friday | Sydney CBD Location
  • Lead a team to deliver 5-star experiences for a prestigious banking client
  • Hands-on role overseeing high-profile café services at a leading financial institution

Restaurant Associates has an enviable track record, working with some of the most prestigious venues and corporations in the world. From grand gala events, corporate cocktail parties to intimate gatherings, we provide bespoke food solutions and exceptional dining experiences.

THE POSITION

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Café Ngalinga ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures
  • Lead, motivate, and support the café team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a high-performance culture
  • Train new and existing staff on service standards, food safety, and operational procedures
  • Manage inventory, ordering, product rotation, maximising sales and minimising waste
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
  • Build strong customer relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality service

THE PERSON

  • Personality and relationship skills required in communicating with customers and the team
  • Strong barista skills and team leader experience essential
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for quality
