Attra Pty is looking to hire Data Analyst for the location of Melbourne

**Experience: 5+ years**
**Notice Period: Immediate to 4 weeks**

- Demonstrated ability to quickly build business knowledge to understand the data, business rules, and patterns and provide insights through data analysis to business stakeholders

**Skills and Experience**:

- 3+ years experience in business analysis and data analysis
- 1+ years’ project support and testing experience would be an added advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
- Skilled in data management, using server-based databases, analyzing large data sets using the SQL platform
- Experience in data management activities including, but not limited to data sampling and profiling, data cleansing and transformation, data quality assurance, and data auditing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management ability
- Strong team focus and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Demonstrated experience in working in a large corporate environment, preferably with an Insurance background

**Compliance, Regulations, Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and Legislation**:

- Responsible for ensuring their own compliance with all regulatory legislative; internal policies and procedures associated with the activities of their position
- Supporting the business with managing compliance obligations in accordance with the PHI compliance framework and operating procedures.
- Responsible for identifying changes to their business area and communicating these to management and compliance
