An excellent opportunity exists for a professional and dedicated administrator to join our established team at the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency (ANZPAA) in a critical support role for the National Institute of Forensic Science, a directorate of ANZPAA.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Administration Officer will support the National Institute of Forensic Science and is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative services support. Primarily, the Officer is responsible for providing administrative services including;
- Process meeting registrations and IT system access requests.
- Receive, direct and relay telephone messages.
- Facilitate general information requests.
- Provide meeting support, including drafting invitations, booking and setting up rooms, arranging catering, and greeting and signing in visitors.
- Collate, format and distribute meeting papers, and support minute taking.
- Facilitate stakeholder orders, and request purchase orders and invoice creation.
- Maintain awareness of policies and processes.

We are looking for a customer focused and flexible individual who has good interpersonal and communication skills. You will excel in working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment where no two days are the same. You need to be comfortable with multiple tasks, focused on quality results and responsive to stakeholder needs.

As a public sector standard, generally all new employees will start at the base entry level and increment throughout the salary range each year based on performance.
