**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Practice Manager** to join our team. Reporting to the Principal of the practice, the Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing operations, implementing strategies to improve efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational, technical, and people skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day practice operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and WHS standards.
- Develop and implement systems to improve efficiency and operational excellence.
- Coordinate staff recruitment, training, and performance appraisals.
- Oversee financial operations, including bank reconciliations, debt collection, and revenue strategies.
- Maintain medical records, ensure data security, and manage clinical software systems.
- Create and manage rosters for staff and practitioners.
- Facilitate GP Registrar and Medical Student placements.
- Ensure assets and facilities are well-maintained.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Minimum 2 years of practice management experience in an Australian general practice setting.
- Proficiency in clinical software such as Medical Director or Best Practice.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, business reporting, and office management.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building experience.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Broad understanding of small to medium business operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, employment conditions, and medico-legal requirements.
- Proven ability to implement strategic plans and drive revenue growth.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical) or Diploma of Practice Management.
- Experience with PracSoft and MedicalDirector software.
- Police Check, Working With Children Check.
- Proven achievements in practice management.

**Schedule**:

- Day shifts (minimum 3 weekday shifts per week required).

**Location**:
Applicants must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Kogarah, NSW 2217 before starting work.

**Work Authorisation**:
Must have work rights in Australia.
