Insurance Adviser Job opportunity

Work for the government This national department is highly established in the general insurance space and are currently looking for 3-4 more Insurance Advisers to join the team ASAP

**Your new role**
- Managing the investigation and assessment of new and existing Domestic & Motor policies
- Work alongside third parties and internal departments in relation to closing and settling claims
- Analyse policy coverage and determine acceptance of claims
- Provide exceptional customer service, respond to general insurance queries within agreed time frames and prepare written response on insurance matters.
- Contribute to new and ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with other team members and support management

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tier 2 accreditation highly desirable
- Given that this is a government organisation, you are required to be an Australian citizen
- Prior experience working within a similar role within Insurance OR Finance
- You will possess strong knowledge of Domestic and/or Motor Insurance products
- Have the ability to manage a large pipeline of work
- Attention to detail, relationship management and time management skills
- The ability to display empathy is essential
