
Electronic Instrument Trades Worker

Based in Sydney, we are a boutique supplier and repairer of automated and robotic industrial cleaning / sanitising machinery and equipment.
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Instrument Trades Worker to join our team and take an integral role in the installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electronic instruments and control systems associated with automated and robotic industrial cleaning and sanitising equipment and machinery.
**Responsibilities**:
- Installing and commissioning automated control systems and respective instrumentation into varied industry sectors including food manufacturing, healthcare and pharmaceutical
- Examining and testing industrial machines and respective instrumentation to diagnose faults and repair
- Diagnose and resolve faults or defective components in automated and robotic cleaning / sanitising systems their respective instrumentation and PLCs
- Maintaining equipment and instrumentation to ensure optimal performance including calibration, servicing and replacement of worn or defective parts, wiring and electronic control system components
- Testing, adjusting and modifying existing systems to meet specific needs or improve performance
- Advising and delivering training to users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:
You will possess experience in automated Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical equipment/systems or Mechatronics / Robotics with relevant trade qualifications and at least two years of work experience in the industry along with the following:
- Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control or equivalent qualification
- Sound knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of electrical, mechanical and robotic control systems.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Experience in service and support of machinery including repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic instrumentation and equipment.
- Experience in the installation, servicing and repair of autonomous or robotic cleaning and sanitisation systems.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings, documentation and manuals.
- Strong organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
