**Your new company**

Operating for over 150 years, this FMCG business has gone from strength to strength and have firmly established themselves as one of the leading organisations in their space across almost every continent. With plenty of exciting developments to come in the next 12 to 18 months, they are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative shipping clerk to join their Dandenong South team on an initial 6-month temporary basis.

**Your new role**

Responsibilities for this role includes:

- Understanding shipping procedures to ensure shipping lines and freight partners deliver the product in a timely manner
- Monitoring of the supply chain to any potential disruptions and offering and implementing solutions
- Timely collation of shipping documents and processing of receipts for the warehousing team
- Work closely with the warehouse to ensure timely arrivals of shipments whilst maintaining accuracy of stock
- Seeking to improve all aspects of the supply chain function
- Work with the accounts team to eliminate discrepancies through review of current processes

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- Experience in the same or similar role
- Experience monitoring of inventory
- Knowledge of freight process
- Strong excel skills
- Ability to identify areas of improvement in the supply chain function
- A knack of assessing and analysing data with a keen eye for detail
- A can-do attitude
