**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for an open minded, motivated Assistant Spatial Analyst to join our Sydney Spatial team. You will work collaboratively to deliver GIS services and support our consulting staff. You will provide GIS support to clients across Urbis' entire range of projects and activities, from transport to planners and heritage specialists. The varied nature of this role will be extremely beneficial to a recent graduate by offering invaluable work experience and exposure to leading industry specialists.

**You will**:

- Liaise with consulting staff at all levels of the business to demonstrate the value of GIS analysis in achieving client outcomes. Your input will be invaluable in illustrating how spatial insights can drive meaningful results
- Compose captivating maps of varying complexities, aligning with the corporate brand and meeting client-defined requirements
- Support Geo-processing tasks, including concatenation of simple and complex attribute and spatial queries for map display and / or data extraction
- Contribute your fresh ideas and insights to craft persuasive input for draft proposals, tenders, and submissions
- Play a key role in maintaining a seamless flow of GIS products from our team to the wider business

**About you**:
**This role is ideally suited to someone who**:

- Is able communicate with confidence and in a responsive manner, both written and verbally
- Possesses tertiary qualifications in Geographic Information Systems (or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro and A.G.O.L as well as the Microsoft desktop suite
- Strong analytical skills to interpret research data
- Computer literacy including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office & Research databases
