The opportunity & how you will make an impact.

As an Assistant Spatial Analyst (Graduate level), every day is differentYou will work closely with stakeholders to make an impact by collecting, processing, and interpreting spatial data to inform decision-making and contribute to innovative, data-driven solutions for our cities and communities, including:

  1. Innovative Solutions:
    Collaborate with business units to raise awareness of spatial services, offering advice to address clients' complex challenges through innovative spatial solutions.
  2. High-Quality Cartography:
    Create high quality cartographic products that align with corporate branding and meet client defined requirements.
  3. Data Management:
    Manage and maintain spatial data to ensure accuracy and accessibility for project needs.
  4. Spatial Analysis:
    Perform spatial analysis and geoprocessing tasks, including ETL and spatial queries
  5. Solution Engineering:
    Engage in solution engineering, including web GIS, publishing digital maps, and configuring spatial tools and products. - using the latest and greatest market leading GIS software
  6. Team Contribution:
    Actively contribute to the positive culture and collaborative environment of the Spatial team.

    tertiary qualification
    in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Urban Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with desktop GIS
    (ArcGIS Pro preferred) and
    web GIS platforms
    (ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online preferred).
  • Proficiency in data manipulation
    (FME preferred), task automation (Python preferred), and the full suite of Microsoft Office.
