**About the role**
Our client, a reputable global business, is seeking an experienced accounts payable officer to join their team** immediately**. Working with this supportive and friendly team-oriented environment, the role will suit an accounting professional who has accounts payable experience and is looking to work and progress their career at an international company.

**The Responsibilities**:
Reporting directly into the Head of Finance Operations Manager, your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

- Data entry of high-volume invoices
- Matching, batching and coding of invoices
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox
- Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills.
- Bank and cash reconciliations.
- Reconcile credit and debit card transactions
- Employee expense management
- Coordinate the accounts payable system, including vendor details, record of payments and filing systems
- Other ad hoc tasks as required

**The successful applicant**:

- 3 years previous experience within an accounts payable role
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with manual processes/pay runs
- Experience with Xero advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication
- Efficient time management and organisational skills
