**About the role**

As a Business Development Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our Mobility Products portfolio by uncovering new business opportunities and strengthening key client relationships to drive revenue and profitability. You’ll also take the lead in designing and delivering engaging Mobility Centre events that elevate member experience and enhance brand visibility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage client relationships to ensure quality customer outcomes
- Management and delivery of RACQ Mobility Centre event schedule including community events, corporate events, internal staff events, seminars, and sponsorship activations.
- Manage customer enquiries, including general correspondence in a timely manner.
- Develop strong and ongoing relationships with existing and new industry and commercial customers and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage opportunities for promotion of the Mobility Centre through special events/shows, presentations and industry /community group involvement.
- Manage member and client enquiries and complaints in relation to Mobility products

**About you**
- Demonstrated new business development experience - uncovering opportunities, managing sales pipeline, negotiating, and closing business
- Demonstrated record of increasing revenue through current customers and generation of new business
- Proven planning and organisational ability, particularly in the managing stakeholders and the coordination and delivery of corporate events.
- Strong attention to detail with a flair for high quality, creative presentation.
- Ability to prioritise workloads, follow through on tasks and meet deadlines to effect smoothly coordinated and delivered events.
- High level of interpersonal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, CMS and DAX.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours, as required
