**About the role**
In this newly created role, you will ensure consistency across project admin processes, develop new written procedures and lead document control.

A key focus will be on driving continuous improvement across the on-site administration team and ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements. This role has a number of direct reports and is a great opportunity to expand your leadership skills within a projects environment.

You will maintain and record project data on registers and reports, monitor and control task progress completion certificates and oversee the team responsible for document management, progression of invoices and claims, site inductions and project administration.

**About you**
You will bring your previous project administration experience to this role and your passion to take that next step in your career to lead a team. You will be proficient in MS Office suite and have knowledge of accounting, purchasing, processing systems.

Your effective communication skills and desire to lead by example will shine through and you will have the focus and drive to meet your deadline and ensure the meets theirs collaboratively.
- To be successful, you will ideally have:_
- Project administration experience (preferable in Defence sector but not essential)
- Passion for Defence/ Maritime projects
- Australian Citizenship - mandatory requirement for security clearances
- Leadership ability and desire to grow in your experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security
- Construction Induction Card (White Card) preferred

This position will work within our subsidiary Naval Ship Management (NSM), which provides asset management solutions to the Australian maritime sector.
