**OVERVIEW**

The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality experience for our members, guests, and key stakeholders. This includes managing inventory, maintaining the bar’s cleanliness and upkeep, facilitating function bookings, and ensuring the bar staff are performing their duties efficiently. A key element of this role is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where the Bar Manager is a familiar and friendly face for regular patrons, fostering strong customer relationships and promoting a sense of community within the club.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Stock management & ordering - all ordering should take place Tuesday/Wednesday.
- Invoice processing - confirming stock is received correctly and entering invoices into POS.
- Stocktake - completed monthly on the 1st..
- Ongoing completion of the Bar Maintenance Register. This includes delegation of duties and ensuring bar staff are completing tasks on-time and efficiently. Some tasks are Bar Manager specific ie. Cleaning Lines.
- Function facilitation - ensuring function areas are set-up adequately & rendezvousing with clients at the start of & during functions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Overseeing the running of the bar/club on key nights - ensuring and assisting staff with keeping on top of tasks throughout the shift, keeping an eye on intox, keeping an eye on our Greens and Barefoot Bowlers to ensure rules are being followed.
- Providing regular & timely feedback to the Club Manager about the status of the bar ie. larger repair requirements.
- Be a key face of the club to our Management Committee, Members and Customers.

**MEASURES OF SUCCESS**
- Accurate inventory, mínimal stock shortfalls and continued mínimal waste.
- Invoices cleared and entered regularly.
- Stocktake completed accurately.
- Bar Maintenance Register completed regularly and on time. Bar/Dining areas to remain consistently clean, tidy and organised.
- Positive feedback from members, function clients, customers and Management Committee.
- Reduced intervention from Club Manager on general running of the bar.
- 3, 6, 9 and 12 monthly reviews.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
