**The Role**

Working in close unison with our Used Vehicle Sales Team and the General Sales Manager, the key focus of the
**Vehicle Buyer** is to proactively source and purchase vehicles on behalf of the Car Dealership - achieving strong results and profitability.

To be considered a suitable fit, you will be able to clearly demonstrate your relevant career car buying expertise, taking full ownership for purchasing with strong commercial awareness and an ability to proactively achieve dealership profitability targets. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Extremely well presented, professional with a desire, character and attitude to succeed
- Strong understanding of Used Vehicle operations
- Have the capability to travel and inspect a car to ensure it meets acceptable conditions
- Negotiate prices with sellers and auctioneers
- Analyse price trends
- Solid understanding of buying criteria and decision-making processes
- Hunger to meet and exceed targets and KPIs
- Ability to form long term business partnerships in order to leverage future transactions and purchases
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Australian Manual Driver Licence
