About the Role
As a Data Analyst in our Personalisation tribe, you’ll play a key role in helping to improve customer engagement by sending the right message at the right time in the right channel, leading to better customer experiences, and better outcomes for the customer and the bank. You will use data to identify and understand opportunities to improve and personalise our customer experiences, especially around identifying potential victims of diverse types of scams and fraud, identifying the right customers to target with relevant messages and through the right channels.

What will your day look like?
**As a Data Analyst, you will**:
Assist journey experts to identify opportunities by answering questions using data analyses
Opportunity sizing and high-level impact analyses in order to inform prioritisation
Customer segmentation and profiling to inform marketing, personalisation, and content strategies
Understand and measure customer journeys and conversion funnels, identifying points of friction and analysing opportunities to optimise experience and site effectiveness
Work with the Predictive Analytics & Activation team to workshop potential solutions and reporting for each initiative
Support and develop ad-hoc analyses and reporting solutions which measure initiative value
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation and presentation (SQL, Teradata, Python, Excel)
Experience combining disparate data from multiple sources to create a complete understanding of a problem or opportunity
Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics or similar tools
Strong written, visual and verbal communication of analysis insights and recommendations to a non-technical audience
Knowledge of banking industry, marketing/personalisation data and techniques, and next-best-action / arbitration / real-time decisioning concepts
Analytical inquisitive mindset with a continuous improvement focus
A team player with a coaching mindset, able to bring people on a journey and help them grow
A degree in a quantitative discipline such as data science, business analytics, mathematics, actuarial studies, engineering, IT or any other related field.
Data micro-courses from providers such as Datacamp, Udemy and Coursera
