Infrastructure Manager

The Infrastructure Services Manager in delivering and managing the overall portfolio of infrastructure projects in a timely manner, to the expectation of the business. This role includes managing day-to-day administrative tasks, such as contract management, supervision of junior staff, provide input to the long-term strategic planning of the infrastructure services team, and project reporting to senior management of the business.
**Responsibilities**:
Provide expertise and support to ensure continuous availability of the production infrastructure.
- Project Management across all IT infrastructure related areas.
- Process Improvement.
- Technical Planning.
- Infrastructure Design and Architecture.
- Staff Management.
- Management Reporting.
**What we're looking for**
- Strong experience across multiple IT technology disciplines preferred; eg. Linux, Microsoft, Cisco, Mitel, Arista, Checkpoint, Juniper.
- Experience also gained in non-IT infrastructure disciplines also highly regarded; eg. CRAC, HVAC, UPS, Data Centre facilities.
- IT industry experience of +10 years.
- Team Lead, Project Management experience; 3-5 yrs (minimum).
- Experience and practical understanding of Change Management and Implementation.
- ITIL qualification; minimum intermediate level.
- Degree qualified in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with Cisco Networking routers and switches, in medium to large organisations. CCNP certification, or better.
- 3-5 years experience with Checkpoint Firewall, Juniper Netscreen or similar.
- Strong understanding of network concepts (routing/VLAN's/Firewalls/etc.)
- AIPM recognised qualification eg. PMP, Prince2, CompTIA Project+.
- Knowledge of financial products and markets.
