Tom and his Disability Support Worker, Jane enjoy cooking together at home and visiting community gardens, which has allowed Tom to work towards his goals and provided his family with some much-needed respite. This would not have been possible without his Support Worker, Jane._
- We are currently seeking Casual and Part-Time Disability Support Workers like Jane to join our team at Interchange Inner East._

**About the Role**
- Interchange Inner East Disability Support Workers engage with participants and make a meaningful impact on their daily lives while supporting them to achieve their goals.
- Interchange Inner East supports are made up of a diverse mix of participants and families.
- We support young children, adults, and teens, we provide short shifts, long shifts, regular shifts, and ad-hoc shifts.
- Each participant is matched with a 1:1 support worker to assist them with a range of goals, activities, tasks, and skills.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic with good listening skills.
- Ability to carry out domestic duties.
- Willingness to assist with basic healthcare practices.
- Interchange Inner East families are based in Surrey Hills, Camberwell, Kew, Thornbury, Box Hill & Doncaster East. The majority of shifts will require travel to the inner east and south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne._
