We are expanding our team to include Behaviour Support Workers to implement person-centred behaviour support plans under the guidance of Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioners.

**Role Summary**

As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will:

- Implement behaviour support plans (BSPs) for participants, ensuring interventions are safe, ethical, and person-centred.
- Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals and increase community participation.
- Monitor and report on participant progress, incidents, and the effectiveness of support strategies.
- Collaborate with participants, families, and allied health professionals to ensure consistent and high-quality support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Implement BSPs under supervision of Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioners.
- Provide positive behaviour support, including strategies to reduce challenging behaviours.
- Maintain accurate records of interventions, observations, and incidents.
- Promote participant choice, dignity, and rights in all support activities.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development.
- Adhere to all NDIS Practice Standards, policies, and procedures.

**Essential Skills & Qualifications**
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting people with disability, including challenging behaviours.
- Understanding of positive behaviour support and restrictive practice requirements.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow behaviour support plans accurately and safely.

**Desirable Attributes**
- Previous experience implementing behaviour support plans.
- Additional training in positive behaviour support or restrictive practices.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
