**About the role**

Due to an internal promotion, MercyCare’s Aged Care Services team is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic **Operations Manager** to lead our North region Home Care services. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager Home Care, you will be a key member of the Home Care management team, responsible for staff management, workforce planning and safety. You will also oversee the efficiency and quality of service delivery, ensuring adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.

**About you**

You’ll have a love of being busy, aim for the stars in all you do and be seeking a team that shares your passion for building a reputation for excellence. With significant experience managing large teams in aged care or community (or equivalent) services and in-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Quality and Safety standards, your key experience will include:

- Demonstrated financial acumen and the ability to manage operational budgets (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high performing teams
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, business acumen and project management skills.
- Proven and effective change and stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts to achieve desired outcomes.
- A commitment to person-centred practice in undertaking work and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
