One should be adaptable and flexible to work with individuals with diverse special needs and to help frail, older people, including the prematurely aged, living in the community to maximize their independence.

**About the Role**

**Choice Consultancy Care Services is looking for Support Workers in Joondalup (WA) **and surrounding area**s **with expertise helping vulnerable and marginalized persons through high-quality case management, social work, and outreach. You will play an important role for many participants who may be excluded from mainstream healthcare, social support, and opportunities, negatively impacting their functioning and independence in the community. You'll use evidence-based, integrated, and person-centered approaches to give individualized assistance using clinical frameworks and modalities to create co-developed realistic recovery programs that are both individualized and powerful. Your goal is to help and encourage people to recognize their own self-efficacy and make long-term changes by taking control of their own journey.

**Job Role and Responsibilities**

**Duties include but are not limited to**:
Experienced male support worker around to support a 15 y/o boy with Autism.

Residing in Joondalup area looking for a SW to build a rapport and with basic life skills (planning his week, homework, cooking, cleaning etc.).

Support dates are flexible, between 3:30pm-6:30pm supports a few times a week (except Wednesday) and Sunday for 3 hours+.

**Experience/Certification Required**
- Relevant qualification Certification III or IV in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support/Social Work
- Full WA Driver's License and your own vehicle
- National Criminal Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid & CPR (or willingness to get one)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Manual Handling (not mandatory but preferable)

**Salary**:$33.00 per hour (weekdays)
