About the Role
Looking for a strong ITSM/ITIL all rounder that can also support BCP/ITSCM. As the ITSM Specialist, you will be initially responsible for managing the customers’ continuity requirements and IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Services as well as supporting other ITSM processes from time to time.
In this role, you will ensure the delivery of value to our customers and internal stakeholders through high-quality customer delivery of ITSCM Services, with the goal of Disaster Recovery readiness aligned with the customers’ Service Continuity Plans.

What you’ll do

**As the ITSM Specialist, you will be responsible for**:

- Leading the Disaster Recovery team in assessing, developing, coordinating and communicating recovery environment requirements and plans
- Ensuring Disaster Recovery plans align with relevant legislation and organisational insurance requirements
- Maintaining monthly status reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, and Disaster Recovery documentation
- Ensuring Disaster Recovery employees have the required skills to carry out their roles and are developed to meet ongoing staffing requirements
- Leading and representing the ITSCM and BCM service on behalf of Datacom to your customers
- Delivering high quality BCM and ITSCM services ensuring compliance with Datacoms relevant policies, processes, and procedures
- Ensuring all stakeholders adhere to the relevant processes in line with customer requirements and Best Practices
- Lead customer Business Continuity and ITSCM projects as required
- Support other ITSM processes as required eg Incident, Problem, Capacity and Change Management.
