**The Position**:
Due to the continued growth of the College, we are seeking a Permanent Part Time Kindergarten Co-Educator to join our Team. This role will be based at our Werribee campus and will commence in Term 4.

This position requires a Kindergarten Co-Educator to assist in the educational program in the Kindergarten rooms, ensuring that a level of support is provided to the Kindergarten Teachers and students in the

Kindergarten rooms.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Educational Leader/Teacher in carrying out their duties and responsibilities
- Assist with the program and daily routines, as directed by the teacher
- Assist the teacher in the provision of a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for the children and families attending the service.
- Ensure that any child or group of children being cared for are adequately supervised, and that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect them from any hazard.
- Have continued input to the development and implementation of the early years learning program
- Attend to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children as required
- Exercise a pastoral responsibility for students in their classes.
- Work with key staff to ensure that the student’s well-being and safety is addressed and being managed.
- Partner with parents or guardian/s with ensuring support and that effective and open communication is maintained.

- Diploma in Children Services or relevant qualification
- A Valid WWCC ‘E’ & Police Check
- A commitment to Christian Education and the College’s Ethos, as presented in the College’s Theological Statement
- The ability to create a positive student culture for deep learning and teaching
- A mindset to utilise technology for the purpose of teaching effectively, updating systems, reporting, student feedback and academic progress.
- Embrace opportunities to grow and develop professionally with the College
