The Australian freight industry is highly fragmented with 58k+ carriers, of which 80% own less than 10 trucks, resulting in the longtail being underused. Our vision is to achieve zero waste in trucking by empowering the long tail of small-medium carriers through technology.

Ofload has just acquired Melbourne freight specialist CIA Logistics and our family is now 120+ strong We are growing at 6x per annum, with plans to continue to scale significantly over the next six months and beyond.

**What You’ll Bring**

As the business scales up quickly, we are looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance team and help implement policies, streamline the collection process and address customer queries.

**What You’ll Do**
- Provide efficient, timely and accurate accounts receivable reports
- Proactive collection of payments and management of debtors
- Generation of weekly statements and reminders for our customers, to ensure timely reconciliation and payment from those customers
- Preparation of consolidated invoices for some large customers
- Resolve queries and disputes including following up with internal departments to solve issues
- Build a robust escalation plan as well as bad debt and recovery policies to help us scale the business
- Assist with the setup of a digital accounts receivable tool
- Ad hoc tasks to assist the broader finance team as required

**We Would Love You To Have**
- Accounts Receivable experience in a similar role 2+ years minimum
- Excellent communication skills to work within the team and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage large volume of data
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
