YOUR NEW ROLE
The Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing will develop and drive the Health Safety and Wellbeing strategy. They will also drive the engagement of Fantastic Furniture's business leaders to maintain a culture of safety, safety awareness, health, wellbeing, injury prevention and rehabilitation across Fantastic Furniture's operations and functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Leaders at all levels to drive a safety culture that puts health, safety and wellbeing as key value in the business
- Partner with Leaders in all business units to develop safety targets and KPIs and support the development and implementation of strategies to achieve those targets
- Make recommendations to improve safety culture within the workplace and develop, document, and deliver effective safety communication strategies
- Develop and prepare clear and concise reports that demonstrate our safety performance metrics and provide insights/trends
- Develop and maintain the ongoing process/systems for Injury Management for work
- and non-work-related injuries, including workers compensation specific matters of rehabilitation, case management and recovery at work programs resulting in improved Lost Time Injury rates and premiums
- Ensure development of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing annual plan for all business units, aligned to whole of business strategy.

ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 5 years' experience in WHS and Workers Compensation/ Injury Management
- Excellent knowledge in WHS legislation, standards, and codes of practice to ensure compliance across all states and territories
- Experience managing a multi-site business
- Experience in managing
- Relationship management of regulators
- Qualifications in WHS and/or injury management
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to negotiate, influence and implement change
