**About the Role**
The primary role of a TAFE SA Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. HPI’s may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

**Criteria**:

- Must hold a relevant industry trade qualification.
- Current trade technical skills and knowledge in automotive area.
- Minimum Certificate III in a relevant trade (or equivalent).
- Must hold an RTO approved Training and Assessment qualification of TAE40116 or later

**Other criteria**:

- Awareness of the challenges faced in adult education, including psychosocial safety.
- Must be currently eligible to live and work in Australia;
