**About the role**:
The Language Services Production Manager is a critical thinker with a sharp eye for detail and high level of organisation. You’ll work collaboratively with our design studio, and language services and client service teams to manage the production aspects for an ongoing translation project. This role is responsible for the day to day management of the project delivery team (two desktop publishers), production and delivery of project activities and will be required to manage timelines, stakeholder expectations, and juggle multiple projects effectively.
**Responsibilities for this role include**:
- Be responsible for managing end-to-end translation production projects for one of our largest clients. This includes assessing requirements and providing cost estimates, planning and scheduling projects, and quality control.
- Build up and demonstrate a clear understanding of our end client’s brands.
- Manage a team of desktop publishers to deliver translated materials on time and to a high standard, and delegating and providing guidance to them as needed. Additionally, identify resource needs and build a network of desktop publishers to support the project as needed.
- Maintain workflows and identify process improvements to ensure that our services consistently meet the delivery expectations set out in our SLAs.
- Coordinating QC throughout the entire translation process.
- Support other teams on other general transcreation and language services projects as and when required.
- Ensure all admin tasks are completed on time.
- About you- You bring a positive, passionate, solutions focused attitude.
- Strong oral and written English skills, knowledge of a foreign language is a plus
- Come from localisation/transcreation/production and/or media creative industries
- 5+ years project or production management experience including taking briefs and scoping work for clients, and being able to be adaptable in a fast changing environment.
- Exceptional communication skills. Effective verbal/written communication with clients, suppliers and internal team members is a must for this role.
- An excellent team player working very closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate project needs and ensure consistency across deliverables.
- You’re pro-active, detail oriented, highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines and calm under pressure
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
