We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable staff member to join our small family-operated centre in Sylvania in the Sutherland Shire.
- ABOUT THE CENTRE and WORK ENVIRONMENT_

We are a small friendly 45-place centre. Our aim is to create an engaging play-based learning environment that is nurturing to the children we care for and teach.
- Existing staff are longstanding and we have a lovely work environment.

- Centre is well resourced
- Never out-of-ratio
- Easy to access by public transport and ample street parking for those that drive
- Under new ownership since the beginning of this year and there's some very exciting things happening in the centre - so now is the time to join us before its too late :)
- ABOUT THE POSITION_
- **Can be Part-Time to Full-Time Position **with flexible hours to suit your work/life balance
- Option to work in room of your preference
- Open to discuss the option of becoming the Second-In-Charge, if that's the direction you want to go in
- ABOUT YOU THE APPLICANT_
- **MUST HAVE's**:_
- to be great with children and love working with kids
- a good work ethic and enjoy working within a supportive team
- a valid Working with Children Check
- a qualification recognised by ACECQA
- **WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE**:_
- previous experience in the Early Childhood Education sector
- experience in programming and writing observations/ daily journals

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sylvania, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)
