Asset Transfer Specialist

We're looking for an Asset Transfer Specialist to:

- Be a role model for the organisations principles and behaviours, inspire others to do the same
- Understand the risks associated with your business and function.
- Liaise with transfer counterparty to negotiate and agree on transfer details and timeline, following up to ensure smooth settlement.
- Be responsible for processing all instructions in accordance with the trade details and ensure accuracy in the SWIFT instruction sent to custodian by EOD.
- Maintain and ensure that all trade documentation is properly filed and archived
- Have the ability to liaise with custodians/counterparties/front office to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
- Supporting change by identifying and implementing process improvements or cost saving opportunities.
- Ongoing self-development/cross training across Operations.

**Your team**

You'll be working in the Wealth Management Asset Transfers team based in Sydney. The team handles the security asset onboarding process for Wealth Management clients. Asset transfers require timely processing while maintaining a high standard of control and accuracy; the team also ensures any queries and coordination required are followed up timely and expertly. This is an excellent platform for a good work life balance and working environment including remote work options.

**Your expertise**
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Knowledge of Securities Settlement Processes will be highly valued.
- Have a strong risk mindset and be able to escalate issues and be transparent.
- People management experience.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Innovative and able to drive results.
- Strong teamwork skill to collaborate with internal and external teams. Be able to demonstrate a strong partnership and inclusive to all team members.
