The Australian National Maritime Museum is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Community Partnerships Lead with business development skills to join our Partnerships team in this full-time, APS Level 6 position, non-ongoing with the possibility of ongoing.

The Community Partnerships Lead will work to develop and manage fundraising initiatives for the Welcome Wall, Australia’s National Monument to Migration and manage community partnerships to raise the profile of the museum. This role will engage extensively with community groups and organisations, multicultural media and donors, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse communities and internal stakeholders.

**Key Accountabilities**
Under limited direction, this position is responsible for delivering the following functions:
- Raise the profile of the Museum in targeted communities and engage potential stakeholders related to the National Monument to Migration (NMM) including media and community partners.
- Fundraise for NMM to deliver annual targets and manage financial reporting and effectiveness of NMM results, outcomes and activities around the NMM.
- Implement and manage NMM marketing campaigns including the production of marketing material such as cases for support, brochures, digital campaigns, web content with the Marketing, Digital and Communications teams
- Manage communication and relationships with donors and partners from culturally and linguistically diverse communities to develop strategic relationships to increase support from individuals, communities, NGOs and government organisations.
- Working with internal stakeholders, manage the Museum’s community partnerships such as the NSW Sustainability Awards, Ocean Lovers Festival to ensure MOUs are created and partnership obligations are met and that these relationships support the museum’s objectives.
- Plan, manage, implement and evaluate NMM community partnership events and unveiling ceremonies.
- Manage the NMM database and implement CRM and digital marketing campaigns.
- Manage the production of the NMM panels.
- Support Head of Corporate & Community Partnerships, Foundation Manager and Corporate Partnerships Manager when required.
**Selection Criteria**
- Experience in community partnerships and engagement including with culturally and linguistically diverse communities with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and strategically with stakeholders to build support to achieve outcomes.
- Demonstrated marketing and event management experience particularly aimed at community groups.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising and/or business development.
- High-level presentation and influencing skills including experience in building and sustaining relationships and liaising with a range of stakeholders, including colleagues, other multidisciplinary teams, donors and community groups.
- Knowledge and experience in Salesforce database management and analysis, including data collection, digital marketing and financial analysis.
**Qualifications and/or relevant experience required**
**Desirable**:
- Knowledge or appreciation of maritime history.
- Language skills relevant to one or more migrant communities.
