**1-year Fixed Term opportunity for a Research Funding Officer (Post Award) to join the Division of Research and Innovation.**
Working under general direction, the Research Funding Officer (Post Award) provides high quality central support to post-award management of funded research projects.
This role will focus on customer service and providing a positive customer experience, providing efficient and effective post award research administration functions, and maintaining corporate records in relation to University research activities.
**To be successful you will need**:
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and explain complex documentation, such as grant guidelines and award conditions.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, numeracy skills, and ability to maintain work accuracy;
- Demonstrated high-level competence of standard office computer software, internet and database packages, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing IT environments;
- High level interpersonal and communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, exercise good judgement, and prioritise competing demands;
- Experience in delivering a professional, client focused service to a range of stakeholders;
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a high functioning team in the achievement of planned goals and objectives;
