Together with MBC and other allied health providers, we aim to consolidate the therapeutic skills our clients develop through services like speech therapy, occupational therapy, and psychological support and helping clients use these skills independently at home and within their community.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Support participants to build independence and confidence through daily activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Manage both practical and administrative responsibilities with efficiency.
- Inspire a positive, motivated team environment that values respect and inclusion.
- Provide consistent leadership, mentorship, and guidance to support staff.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and maintain quality service standards.
- Coordinate programs that enhance clients' quality of life and wellbeing.
- Work flexibly across leadership, support work, personal assistance, and admin capacities.
- Design and implement tailored, person-centred support programs.

**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum of 1 year in a support work or related role.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and guide a team while fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Competence in managing administrative duties including rostering, documentation, incident reporting, and compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, families, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to a dynamic, team-based environment.
- Clearances and Certificates:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Valid driver’s licence (minimum P1) and reliable access to your own vehicle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) tools for documentation, reporting and communication.
- Solid understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a therapeutic support worker.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Certificate IV or higher in Community Services, Social Work, Disability Support, Youth Work, Mental Health, Allied Health or a related field.
- Previous experience in a leadership or senior support role within the community or disability sector.
- Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), including relevant policies, procedures, and operational frameworks.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.15 - $44.59 per hour
