Branch Architecture Lead

- No Award applies for this role: Rates from $140.00 per hour are offered (inclusive of superannuation and casual loading) - dependant on skills and experience.
- 8 hours per day - 40 hours per week
- ASAP Commencement
- Australian Citizens required - willing to obtain a Security Clearance
- Locations: Canberra ACT or Sydney NSW

**About the Role**:
**R**esponsibilities include**:
- Offer daily management and technical architecture guidance to the branch's technical leads who assist various product teams.
- Offer technical counsel to the branch service lead and delivery leads.
- Ensure the quality of architectural artifacts produced by technical leads within the branch.
- Oversee the technical quality of the digital products and services within the branch.
- Collaborate with other branch technical leads to ensure cohesive architectures are produced and implemented across branches.
- Report to the Program architect within the division.
- Recognise and coordinate technical dependencies between product teams across branches.
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- Proven experience in managing architects and technical leads, with a focus on guiding teams towards achieving architectural vision and goals.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, domain-driven design
- Extensive experience in architecting APIs
- Experience leveraging Microsoft Azure for solution development.
- Comprehensive understanding of security by design, knowledge of common web security issues and strategies to prevent them.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals and work collaboratively within a team.
- Significant background working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams in a large-scale digital organisation.
