What will you do?

Lead, engage and inspire the wider project team to adopt digital processes and technology for the whole project lifecycle. The Digital Lead assumes responsibility for the coordination of all digital systems, processes, and activities on the project. The Digital Lead is an active operational role and is the face of all digital activity to all internal and external stakeholders.

The main aspects of this role include:

- Provide input to Aurecon’s digital delivery and digital strategy framework
- Develop and implement project standards, methods, and procedures in accordance with industry standards
- Champion Aurecon digital policies and initiatives including ‘Model First’ and ‘Aurecon Project Information Management Standard (APIMS)
- Drive digital awareness, literacy, and advocacy within the wider team
- Provide digital input to transport bids and priority pursuits
- Enable a data-led approach to design and delivery, driving quality through coordinated models and datasets
- Creation and maintenance of templates and automated routines as needed to support efficient production

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will need to have in order to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering or industry experience within an engineering environment
- Extensive working knowledge of BIM software (12d, 12d Synergy, ProjectWise, AutoCAD and Navisworks)
- Experience in the development of Federated models and Design Coordination
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and implement a digital strategy framework
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team through transition and change
