The Division is supported by several national functions including Human Resources, Officer Recruitment, Information Technology, Public Relations and Fundraising, Quality and Professional Standards, Property and Volunteers Management.

The role you could play

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a values-driven Executive Assistant to the Divisional Commander, to provide executive support to the Divisional Commander of the Tasmania Division

Responsibilities include:

- Provide effective and efficient executive support to the Divisional Commander (DC), including the management of schedules and workload whilst maintaining strict confidentiality
- Accountable for the effective diary management
- Facilitate regular risk and compliance meetings, supporting the DC in obtaining compliance reports, preparing the meeting agenda, minutes/notes and actions
- Accountable for the coordination of various regular meetings on behalf of the DC, including scheduling and calendar invites, location bookings, preparation of agendas, coordination of attendees, organising briefs and reports as required, recording of minutes and actions
- Build relationships and liaise with Government and external stakeholders, including other Executive Assistants, to schedule meetings and organise events in collaboration
- Coordinate Divisional/State/Regional Events that as hosted by the DC
- Manage and coordinate travel bookings and requirements for the DC

This is a permanent full-time position, based at our State Divisional Headquarters in Derwent Park.

What you can bring
- Demonstrated significant experience, knowledge and skills in administration and customer service
- Experience in Executive Assistant role highly desirable
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent
- Demonstrated professional and accurate written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of packages including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel
- A current TAS Drivers Licence
- Valid TAS Employee Working with Vulnerable Persons Check
- Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
