We are seeking a Team Leader for our Client Services team who has a strong love for animals and their welfare, who demonstrates a high level of professionalism and leadership, fantastic customer service skills, enthusiasm, energy and empathy at all times, for the delivery of excellence in a friendly working environment.

The Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre is a multi-disciplinary specialist veterinary centre providing services to Clients and Veterinary Practices within Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria. We have a fantastic team and pride ourselves on our long standing staff retention. We ensure to provide a fun, supportive and social environment for our team members with a strong focus on team culture and happiness.

**This is a busy role and your key areas of responsibility will involve but are not limited to the following**:

- Management of the Client Services team across Glen Waverley and Essendon Fields (approximately 5 team members + a pool of casuals)
- Management of annual reviews/performance reviews alongside Practice Manager
- Involvement in hiring processes
- Rostering/leave management
- Payroll management (Kronos)
- Being the face of MVSC, by greeting clients professionally at all times
- Providing exceptional Customer Service - to Clients, staff and referring Veterinarians
- Answering telephones
- Scheduling appointments
- Admitting and discharging Patient
- Maintaining accurate client files
- Organising post and couriers
- Accepting and finalizing payments
- Initiative & Adaptability - this role requires you to be able to multitask and have a proactive attitude
