**Your Role**

This is a time of transformation and innovation at NRMA, and we're looking for individuals who are curious, forward-thinking, and ready to challenge conventional approaches. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks—from estimating risk costs, building and validating models, and producing stakeholder insights, to identifying efficiency opportunities and mentoring fellow analysts. You’ll also contribute to industry awareness, governance standards, and knowledge sharing across teams, helping to create meaningful, data-driven solutions that deliver real value to the business and our customers.

**About You**-
- Proficiency in analytical software such as R, Python, SAS, and SQL is required, with the ability to use these tools to optimize data processing, model development, and technical pricing analysis to drive innovation and business value.- Experience with building interactive dashboards using tools like R Shiny and Tableau is beneficial, enabling you to effectively visualize data, communicate insights, and present technical concepts to stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.- Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, particularly the ability to translate complex, technical concepts into clear and concise language that is understandable to a broad range of stakeholders, from technical teams to senior management.- Expertise in actuarial and technical pricing methods, including experience in the design, development, and evaluation of pricing models, along with knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and advanced predictive analytics techniques, is highly desirable.- Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or other analytical fields are essential, with a strong foundation in analytical thinking to support data-driven decision-making and model development in a dynamic insurance environment.- Familiarity with the insurance industry's regulatory environment and relevant legislation will also be advantageous.
