**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced administration professionals or paralegals to join our team. The **Paralegal Officer** role provides critical administration support to our Prosecutions Unit.

Key tasks include:

- Creating and filing court attendance notices
- Investigating and compiling court attendance notice submissions for Prosecutors, along with compiling submissions for court elected infringement notices
- Reviewing infringement representations and obtaining prosecutorial requests such as traffic records and registration certificates
- Reviewing legal documents and preparing research
- Liaising with internal stakeholders - Prosecutions, Camera Compliance and Intelligence units
- Liaising with participating jurisdiction revenue agencies, police and state government
- General administrative duties including monitoring the central inbox, drafting documents and reporting
- Maintaining confidentiality and displaying utmost professional integrity when dealing with sensitive matters

**About You**
- Demonstrated high level administration experience. Paralegal experience or experience in a legal environment is beneficial, however not essential
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a high turnaround of workload, while maintaining high level attention to detail
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft and the ability and willingness to learn multiple new systems
- Strong verbal communication and written skills, coupled with a high standard of customer service
- Understanding of legislation or ability to learn
- Researching skills will assist you
