**This position will provide a range of gardening services in the Geelong Region to enable Home Instead clients to keep their green spaces safe, healthy and tidy and perform a range of home maintenance duties including making minor repairs around their home to support a clients wellbeing and safety.**

**Home Instead** is a leading provider of high-quality, relationship-based in-home care for ageing adults. Home Instead Geelong was founded by Giovanni and Giselle Siano in 2018 and employs over 350 people in the local community. We help with a range of personal and lifestyle needs while providing welcome companionship for ageing adults.

We are seeking reliable, empathetic and experienced gardening professionals to assist our clients with basic gardening services including lawn mowing, trimming and edging, pruning, mulching and weeding.

We service the Geelong region (including Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast), Ballarat and Colac areas. We are recruiting Gardeners for all areas. If you are successful you will be scheduled to attend client's home near to your location.

Hours of work are negotiable (minimum of 15h/week) as a casual or permanent role can be discussed.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a Gardener is essential
- The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
- Love of working outdoors and plant life
- Must have or be willing to obtain white card
- Must have own tools and equipment, including but not limited to: lawn mower, whipper snipper, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, pruning shears, rake, shovel, wheel barrow, safety shoes and gloves
- Clear National Police Check
- An insured vehicle and Drivers Licence
- A smartphone
- COVID vaccination

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $41.33 - $47.98 per hour

**Experience**:

- Gardening and/or Handyman: 2 years (required)
